Designed and delivered comprehensive people and culture change programme required to align 26,000 staff to the Retail Bank’s brand values
- Designed and implemented 373 engagement workshops 4,859 line managers in four month period resulting in UK staff engagement scores rising from 55% to 64% over the next six months
- Negotiated delivery costs with a team of associate trainers and a central logistics team member resulting in a saving of £150,000 on original budget of £750,000
Developed and delivered programme to reduce regulated sales force from 1,780 to 1,200 over a three month period

Strategic HR Planning
Redesigned pay and bonus strategy of Corporate Bank to reduce attrition of key relationship managers
- Designed innovative self-funding bonus scheme to allow much more flexibility at no extra cost to business
- Attrition rates of relationship managers fell by over 50% in 12 months, staff satisfaction with financial reward rose from 35% to 63% in six months
Team Building
Designed and delivered an 18 month four-stage team development programme, based around Group Styles Inventory (GSI) from Human Synergistics, for 30 multi-disciplinary marketing staff to help them work better together
- Team redesigned the workflow from linear project working to team-based working, thus creating 10% (£50K) cost savings on annual salary budget, improving the number of projects completed on time by 25% and increasing client satisfaction from 72% to 85%
Worked with seven executive teams using GSI diagnostic to help them align to brand values
- Improvements of between 10% and 27% seen in positive behavioural attributes of GSI
Assessment Centres
Responsible for Management Assessment Centres as part of the selection and potential assessment of managers in Lloyds TSB
- Assessed over 100 managers per year over a three year period
- Designed 7 new scenarios for assessment centre exercises, saving £10,000 in consultant fees
- Trained all assessors and role players
Designed and delivered bespoke assessment centre for recruitment of HR Managers
- Used to recruit 20 managers over a three month period
- Saved approx. £15,000 in consultant fees
